The Real Reason For Hair Loss

Hair loss has left many of us stumped. We have faced embarrassment and turned red in the face and scalp. Let’s get to the root of the problem and examine the causes for hair loss. The answers will leave us all surprised.

We all know that when hormones play up, then can mess with our hair. The hormone DHT is directly responsible for hair loss. DHT can permanently destroy your hair follicles. If you are lucky and catch DHT before it’s too late, it may just neutralize the follicles which leaves you scope for regrowth. So if we attack DHT well in time, we can nip the problem of hair loss in the bud.

We need to examine the source of DHT. What creates DHT in our body? The most common belief is that testosterone is responsible for hair loss and it creates DHT in the body. But this is only fiction. In fact estrogen produces DHT and is the real culprit. Once you realize this you can tackle the problem head on.

In order to control hair loss, you must lower the levels of toxic estrogen in the body which actually produces DHT. This will eliminate the main cause of hair loss and will prevent balding. And how do we achieve this reduction of toxic estrogen in the body? Let’s see what we can do about this:

  • There are many toxins in the chemically dependent and polluted world we live in. The food we eat, the water we drink and even the air we breathe is saturated with toxins. Our liver cannot handle toxins in such excessive quantities and tends to by-pass it, and the toxin gets converted to estrogen. It is not possible for us to avoid the poisons in our life. So the alternative would be to work on the efficiency of the liver by cleansing it thoroughly. Buy a liver cleansing product from the market, try it for a few months and see the difference.
  • Besides the liver, cleanse the scalp of existing DHT. If you don’t do this your scalp still remains affected. DHT removers are also sold off the shelf and you should have no problem in finding a good one, though the cost may be a little prohibitive. Some people even make it at home.
  • Certain foods such as soy, soyabeans and flax seeds produce estrogen in the body. You will have to avoid these food products to reduce estrogen levels in the body.

Now that you know the reason for hair loss you will be able to take preventive measures to curb the estrogen production and consequently DHT levels in the body. This will enable you to save your existing hair. Now, that’s some food for hairy thought.
